In this community the historic San Domingo Rosenwald School is located. One of the few remaining Rosenwald Schools dating back to 1919. Now the property is maintained by the John Quentin Foundation and used as the San Domingo Community & Cultural Center. The commemorative sign in front of the property was the result of a Lower Eastern Shore Heritage Area project.
