Mini Grant Application

Who is eligible? Non-profit organizations and governmental entities within the borders of the three counties - Wicomico, Worcester and Somerset that make up the Lower Eastern Shore Heritage Area are eligible to apply. Individuals with proposals fitting the guidelines may apply in partnership with an eligible organization.

Eligible activities must address or complete a priority activity briefly identified in and consistent with the goals, objectives, strategies and actions outlined in the approved Executive Summary LESHC Management Plan
The complete, comprehensive LESHC Management Plan is available to review in the LESHC office.
A total of $10,000 is dedicated for the Mini Grant program from the LESHC Management budget. Grant awards range of $500 to $2500.

To be considered for a LESHC Mini-Grant you must attend at least 1 scheduled technical workshop offered at the beginning at the mini grant round. Additionally the applicant must be a annual contributing supporting member at $75 or higher

Generally, grants will be made as one-time awards, not for ongoing projects or activities that require a multi-year commitment.
