Blue Crab Byway
In conjunction with SHA (State Highway Administration) support and award funds, the Lower Eastern Shore Heritage Council is the active manager of the Blue Crab Byway, a network of 210 miles of scenic byway routes moving the visitor around the core of the heritage area.
Blue Crab Scenic Byway located in the our heritage area and winds throughout the lower 3 counties of Wicomico, Worcester, and Somerset assisting the traveler seeking that authentic experience. The Blue Crab Byway takes the visitor at various sites that include landscapes, museums, historic sites, kayaking, hiking and biking trails, hotels, B&B's, and restaurants all along on the Byway.
